A personal time-lapse application
Moonlight Camera Journal
Time on the water, captured frame by frame.
Moonlight Camera Journal is a personal application for Narrowboat Moonlight. It runs on the owner’s Home Assistant server, capturing boat time-lapses and editing them into finished videos for Adventures by Moonlight.
The owner reviews a completed render, selects its title and description, and explicitly starts each upload. The application uses YouTube API Services to upload owner-approved renders to the owner’s channel.
Every upload is Private. The owner reviews the result in YouTube Studio and makes it public manually. Capture and editing never trigger an automatic upload or public release.
